Plants for Modern Separation of Recyclables
The first waste treatment plants from Eggersmann have little in common with the intelligent, adaptive plants of today. In addition to mechanical systems such as bag openers, shredders, drum screens, ballistic separators as well as many others, the use of sophisticated electrotechnical components and digital solutions has now increased considerably. Recyclable materials are detected by devices with infrared or X-ray radiation and then processed into pure recyclable fractions with compressed air or by sorting robots. Thanks to digital networking, all data is permanently recorded, clearly processed and the process chain automatically optimised. Conveying and dosing systems, for example, ensure a precisely controlled, absolutely even and thus smooth material flow.
Digitalised Waste Treatment
We at Eggersmann have participated in and shaped these developments from the very beginning. We are constantly improving our own process technologies. Therefore, we not only offer you our experience in the design and construction of entire plants with robust recycling equipment, but also digital solutions from our own company. With our own Eggersmann Service Assistant App (ESA), all the data from your plant regarding throughput, quality and output is automatically compiled, evaluated and the process chain is adjusted fully automatically. The app also supports you in planning, checking and documenting maintenance work.
The Eggersmann Bunker Management
Another digital product from our range is the Eggersmann bunker management: At the end of a recycling process, the separated fractions are often pressed into bales. A high quality of these bales is absolutely necessary for storage, transport and marketing. Our intelligent bunker management system calculates the material volume of the entire plant, including the material flows on the conveyor belts, and fills material bunkers with the optimum quantity for precisely uniform bales. Only when there is a suitable amount of material in the bunker is it forwarded to the baler. This avoids the return of incomplete bales. In addition, this intelligent feeding system ensures optimal integration of the baling presses into the system process of the plant.
