Eggersmann FUEL is a proven and solid procedure for the treatment of large waste volumes with the goal of producing alternative fuels, e.g. for the cement industry.

The consistently standardized process allows for affordable waste treatment in emerging and developing countries which so far mostly use landfills or uncontrolled depositing. 

Eggersmann FUEL on the one hand prevents emissions from landfill and on the other hand saves fossil fuels in the cement industry.

Eggersmann FUEL is a combination of proven and coordinated Eggersmann components as a system solution. In the first step, the residual waste is shredded with a TEUTON shredder. The shredded material is then biologically dried with the CONVAERO process. Depending on the plant throughput and requirements of the automation, the world's largest turner, the BACKHUS CON, is used for biological drying. 

The treatment period is based on the required calorific value of the refuse derived fuel. The discharge of the biological drying is treated depending on the further requirements to the refuse derived fuel with Eggersmann treatment technology.
