Sorting Plant for Mixed Paperboard (Paper, Cardboard and Cardboard Packaging)
With this system solution, you can separate the mixed paperboard (paper, cardboard and carton packaging) from the separate collection (e.g. by a paper bin) into recyclable fractions.
The NIR sorting system at the end of the line enables the targeted ejection of composite materials such as beverage cartons. This significantly increases the purity of the end products once again.
The plant achieves a throughput of 10 tonnes per hour.

System Components
BRT HARTNER D Dosing Hopper
The BRT HARTNER D dosing hopper ensures a particularly uniform material feed. The precisely tunable and sensor-controlled material flow can increase the efficiency of the entire process by up to 20 %. The machine can be used for a wide range of input streams, from waste paper to household waste and shredded tyres to electronic scrap and pulper tails.
Conveyor Technology
This system solution also includes conveyor belts from our own production. We stock a wide range of different belt types and systems in order to offer the right solution for every system.
BRT HARTNER SC | SF Disc Screens
Our disc and rotor screens are available as SC for coarse separation of stable cardboard and cardboard packaging using oval rubber discs and as SF fine screens with steel discs for separating deinking goods. The machines, which are insensitive to foreign matter, also generate a homogeneous material flow, which also has a positive effect on the subsequent process steps. After the combined use of SC and SF, the material is perfectly prepared for manual or optical sorting.
BRT HARTNER AS Automatic Sorter
The BRT HARTNER AS Automatic Sorter is an optical sorting system. The ultra-modern HSI camera (Hyperspectral Imaging) in combination with the specially trained spectral AI for analysing the data enables extremely precise material classification. Impurities are removed using compressed air.
