This combination of a pre-shredder and a conveyor belt is a simple yet efficient solution for producing a predefined end product while simultaneously filling containers or lorries. It serves as a starting point for a wide range of plant concepts and can be expanded at any time.
Pre-Shredder with Overbelt Magnet
Many waste materials contain valuable metals in the form of screws, handles, housings or containers. With the combination of a pre-shredder and an overbelt magnet, you not only reduce the material to a marketable final grain size, but also separate the ferrous metals.
Pre-Shredder with Container Filling on Both Sides
Do you not only want to shred your material, but would also like to have longer intervals before changing the containers? Thanks to the conveyor belt that reverses at the touch of a button, two containers can be filled one after the other. Alternatively, alternate filling with different materials is also possible.

System Components
BRT HARTNER ARCTOS Pre-Shredder
Thanks to a cutting gap that can be changed without tools and a screen basket system, you can use the BRT HARTNER ARCTOS pre-shredders to shred your material to the exactly to the required size . Different tool types allow the machine to be customised for specific applications.
Conveyor Technology
This system solution also includes conveyor belts from our own production. We stock a wide range of different belt types and systems in order to offer the right solution for every system.
Electrical Overbelt Magnet
The electric overbelt magnet is a standard component. The powerful design ensures precise ferrous metal separation. It is therefore perfect for sorting out nails, hinges and staples from waste wood or removing ferrous metals from household waste, lightweight packaging and many other input streams.
Rotary Loading
Rotary loading is the solution for filling two containers – one after the other or alternately. The conveyor belt is reversible and has a swing gear so that two containers can be filled with different materials using a pre-shredder. One push of a button is all it takes to switch between the containers.
BRT HARTNER SD Screen Drum
The robust BRT HARTNER SD screen drum can be perfectly adapted to different requirements thanks to its interchangeable screening elements. With a choice of square or round holes of up to 300 mm, it is also perfect for screening coarse materials.
BRT HARTNER STS Star Screen
The particularly precise BRT HARTNER STS star screens are available with both a coarser and a finer screen cut. With both versions, the sieve cut can also be customised exactly to requirements.
BRT HARTNER WS Wind Sifter
The wind sifter works with gravity: The material is fed into a fall chute and blown under. Light particles such as film or plastic are whirled up and then extracted. The heavier materials simply fall downwards.
BRT HARTNER BBS Curved Belt Separator
Our BRT HARTNER BBS curved belt separators not only utilise falling and sinking behaviour, but also ballistic principles to separate different materials from one another. These complex machines are ideal for the ejection of film or plastic.
