Garbage Bags
Although garbage bags make it easier for consumers to separate waste, they must first be opened before waste processing can begin. Shredding the bag and its contents can lead to the undesirable mixing of two types of waste, which are then difficult to separate again in the shredded state. This is particularly fatal in the case of biowaste delivered in bin bags, as its moist, sticky consistency ensures a high carry-over rate. Bag openers are recommended in such situations. They do not shred the bags, which is why they can be easily removed. They also enable efficient emptying.
