The BRT HARTNER ARCTOS pre-shredders are not only suitable for biomass or lightweight packaging, but also for applications such as municipal solid waste (MSW) and even tyres. Various settings and options allow you to customise the machine precisely to your requirements at any time.

With the ARCTOS BM (200 kW) and the ARCTOS OM (2 x 200 kW), you also have the choice between two drive capacities in different sizes.

Features

Shredding Unit

The full power of the torque is utilised with the spirally arranged rotor tools. The serially installed wear plates with a special protective alloy make the Marathon rotor particularly wear-resistant.

Reversing Rotor

If difficult materials are detected by means of resistance measurement, the rotor reverses automatically. The adjustable control programme specifically differentiates between materials that cannot be shredded and those that are hard to shred. This makes the ARCTOS efficient in difficult materials and offers safety against contaminants.

Shredding Hood

Optimum Loading Width
