In addition to engineering and implementation planning, the scope of the order for the sorting plant also included the procurement, manufacture and delivery of the entire plant technology and components as well as installation and commissioning.
Input: Packaging waste from the PMC category of the Belgian disposal system, i.e. packaging made of plastics, light metals (aluminum or tinplate) and composite materials
Throughput: Approx. 40,000 tons of lightweight packaging per year
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the sorting plant can separate waste into 17 different fractions. Modernizing or expanding the existing plant was not an economical option, so this new plant was built for a total of 72 municipalities in the province of Liège.
