Technical Data

The BRT HARTNER ARCTOS BM 36 is a multi-purpose shredder with an energy-efficient 200 kW motor for the fine processing of private and municipal waste like biomass or leightweight packiging. The powerful shredding prepares the material optimally for composting or biogas production. Maintenance and repair are particularly easy, as all wear segments are bolted into the working chamber.

 

Shredding Unit

  • With 36/48 spirally arranged rotor tools flexible branches are shredded just as well as small citrus fruits. The serially installed wear plates with special protective alloy make the 3.6 m long Marathon rotor particularly wear-resistant.

Reversing Rotor

  • If difficult materials are detected by means of resistance measurement, the rotor reverses automatically. The adjustable control programme specifically differentiates between materials that cannot be shredded and those that are hard to shred. This makes the ARCTOS efficient in difficult materials and offers safety against contaminants.

Shredding Hood

  • The hydraulically swing-out shredding hood gives you free access to the working area.

Cutting Gap Adjustment

  • You can choose between six different settings for a predefined end grain. 

Tool-free Change

  • No tools are required for the adjustment of the cutting gap.

Screen Basket System

  • To produce a marketable final grain size in just one pass, we offer you a screen basket system.

Optimum Infeed Width

  • Do you prefer wheel loaders with large buckets? We do too. That's why the ARCTOS have a loading width of 3.8 m and and intake width of 3.2 m. This enables large quantities of material to be feed quickly and easily.
