The BRT HARTNER ARCTOS BM 21 is a compact multi-purpose shredder . The rotor of the single-shaft shredder has 28 tools for precise shredding of the material. Together with its energy-efficient 200 kW motor, it is not only ideal for processing biomass and lightweight packaging, but also impresses with municipal, commercial and industrial waste. For particularly high machine availability, all wear parts are bolted and can therefore be quickly changed.
Features
Shredding Unit
- With 28 spirally arranged rotor tools flexible branches are shredded just as well as small citrus fruits. The serially installed wear plates with special protective alloy make the 2.1 m long Marathon rotor particularly wear-resistant.
Reversing Rotor
- If difficult materials are detected by means of resistance measurement, the rotor reverses automatically. The adjustable control programme specifically differentiates between materials that cannot be shredded and those that are hard to shred. This makes the ARCTOS efficient in difficult materials and offers safety against contaminants.

Shredding Hood
