Screening machines separate the material into different sized fractions. Household waste, bio waste, compost or refuse-derived fuel (RDF) are the best-suited types of input material. The construction size of the stationary trommel screen depends on the type of waste, the targeted throughput rate as well as the required output particle size.
The rotary movement of the drum transfers a high level of kinetic energy into the material. It is permanently thrown up and turned around. This results in exceptionally loosened up waste with optimal separation.
The exchangeable screen drums of the stationary trommel screen are available with round or rectangular screen perforation holes. Depending on the kind of material they are also equipped with an additional entanglement protection. The material transport within the screening drum is done by a welded screw conveyor which adjusts in height and inclination according to the screening material. The drive of the screen drum body with sturdy, mechanically processed ball races works with heavy-duty support wheels.
The stationary trommel screen BRT HARTNER ST is equipped with a sturdy, wear-resistant sheet steel, respectively with a steel wire construction. The spacious maintenance flaps and doors allow for quick and easy access.
