What are the benefits of reusable packaging?

Reusable packaging, also known as "returnable packaging", is packaging that can be used multiple times. They are either taken back and recycled by the company or returned by the end consumer. This packaging is usually made of robust materials such as metal, glass or plastic and can be used several times before it has to be disposed of.
